Chess in Rome

Report an error or add a place

This form is for two things: a card that says something wrong or out of date, and a chess place or recurring tournament in the Rome area that is not listed yet. Anyone may write, whether club officer, organiser, teacher, parent or player.

A link does most of the work: the club’s page, the calendar entry, a dated notice. Messages are read together when the list is next revised, compared with that page, and each resulting change is dated in the change log.

What is your message about?
For a new entry: what kind of chess happens there, and when. For an error: the line on the card that is wrong.
The address of a web page, calendar entry or post where this can be read.
Only so that the message has a sender; it does not appear on the site.
A telephone number or a messaging handle, if email does not suit you.

One contact is required, email or otherwise. It stays private and is used only if you ask for an answer.

How the contents of this form are handled is described under privacy.

After you press send

  • Your message waits with the others until the Rome list is next revised.
  • It is then set beside the club’s or organiser’s own pages; where they bear it out, the card is changed and the change log records the date.
  • Where no page can be found to support it, the card stays as it is and keeps its “not confirmed” wording.
  • No answer is sent unless the message asks for one and leaves a contact.
